Lance Armstrong Foundation/LIVESTRONG

When Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with cancer in 1996 - before he had any idea whether he was to survive - Lance met with CSE founders Bill Stapleton and Bart Knaggs and formed a small foundation to fight the disease. Since then, the Lance Armstrong Foundation has raised close to $300MM and spends $40MM per year on cancer programs and services. CSE's Bill Stapleton is responsible for overseeing the LAF's cause marketing efforts and strategic direction of the LIVESTRONG brand.

Furthermore, with more than 60 million LIVESTRONG bands sold worldwide, and partnerships such as the Nike LIVESTRONG Collection, LIVESTRONG.COM and the American Century LIVESTRONG Portfolios, LIVESTRONG has become a global movement about hope, empowerment and taking control of your life and your health.
